Oakdean has secured the circa £2.4m residential scheme for the construction of 11 new dwellings in Palace Road, Brixton for clients Metropolitan Housing Trust. The redevelopment of the site sees the demolition of the existing former care home and construction of a new three-storey building to provide 11 residential units, together with the provision of 5 car parking spaces and bin/cycles store, with associated landscaping. Wellington Street, SE1 – Completes

Oakdean has completed the construction of the challenging mixed-use development, located in the Bathway Quarter of Woolwich, a historically sensitive location next to the Grade II listed Woolwich Town Hall.

The development comprises of the demolition of the former Grand Theatre and Regal Cinema at 38 Wellington Street and the design and construction of a concrete framed building, providing 34 private tenure apartments and 455sqm of community space.

Designed in a contemporary style, the building takes architectural cues from the adjacent Town Hall and surrounding areas, contributing to the regeneration of the local area.

Adelaide Rd, NW3 – Completes

Oakdean Construction has completed the construction of five luxury townhouses, located between the prime residential areas of Belsize Park, St John’s Wood and Primrose Hill, NW3.

Each of the new townhouses range in size from 207.7 sq m – 2,236 sq ft going up to 212.1 sq m – 2,283 sq ft and benefit from direct underground parking, private gardens, cutting-edge smart cabling, air conditioning and AV systems; including feature curtain walling creating a light and contemporary space inside.

Spring Mews, Block D – Another Outstanding Considerate Constructors Score

Oakdean achieves an impressive 40/50 for its latest Considerate Constructors Score at Spring Mews, Block D in Vauxhall, London.

Scoring an impressive 8/10 across the board, the inspector was particularly impressed with the overall appearance of the site and stated that “This site continues to perform excellently against all areas of the Scheme code.”

We are delighted to have achieved another fantastic CCS score and will continue to work hard to maintain and exceed these standards on future projects.
